I have a 6 year old and 3 year old twins and we’ve had a family membership since the very start! Glow Worm is part of our weekly routine and definitely one of my happy places. My kids can play and I can read and drink my coffee in peace! All of the new toys have been AMAZING and even my 6 year old can stay engaged for the entire play time. Definitely recommend a visit! (And a piece of cheesecake)
We had absolute blast! I was finally able to meet a friend here. We both have toddlers around 2. The atmosphere was great as there was only one other family. It was nice to be in safe space free from chasing my toddler around. So that made for a great low-key introduction to the place. The coffee was very good and comfy vibes were immaculate. I really like the rental concept as it doesn’t feel like it will be overrun. I felt welcomed when we entered and the baked goods were delicious! Definitely asking for a membership for Christmas! ;)

Super fun place! This was a great stop for the kids on our way to a conference in Louisville. The staff is friendly, the drinks are delicious and the main play area is very engaging. My older kids enjoyed their time in the butterfly room as well. They book sessions in advance and clean between each session. Thankfully there was room in the earlier session for us because we arrived before our original time.
My 21 month old loves this place - really fun - and they offer great breakfast and lunch items. Their paninis are so good! Highly recommend this spot when looking for something to do with young ones. It’s also so wonderful that they have the porch for nicer days.
We went to Glow Worm Highlands for the first time today and had a fantastic experience! I have a 3-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son, and my MIL gave us a gift card for Christmas. The bakery/cafe/retail area when you first walk in is delightful — I ordered a chai latte and my daughter got some chocolate chip mini muffins, which they bring to you in the play area. The play area was very thoughtfully designed and so clean! I sat at a table and worked on an upcoming presentation while both children played. I especially appreciated the “2 and under” space being sectioned off from the main play area. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! I hope to make this a regular part of our outings rotation.
I enjoyed myself, until the end. I was 1:30 into my 2 hour session and I was told it was time to overall get ready to leave bc the next session was at 3 and they had to clean. I paid for two hours… I wish they could have told me nicer instead of interrupting play time with their sanitation with no warning or communication of any kind so early ( the person with the nose piercing) the other ladies were nice and apologetic. They noticed it was kind of rude and said I could stay bc the next session only had one child.
My twins always love coming to glow worm. It's clean, friendly and a great time for me and my family. I can't say enough good about them. We even had a wreck after leaving one day. Horrifying as a parent luckily only I was hurt and they took my kids to play watched over them. They went above and beyond to help us in our time of need while EMS came and took me away. Come support a great local business and keep them around ❤️they really care and they show it.
This has become our favorite happy place. My daughter enjoys the opportunity to explore, play, meet new pals, aaaand of course eat yummy treats. I usually park myself on the cozy couch and feed her baby sister while she spends her time having fun. The coffee is delicious. Everything Dara bakes is delectable. The place is ridiculously adorable inside. It’s really just best summed up as a “shiny happy place!”
We look forward to spending more and more time there as summer break opens up more availability in our schedule.
